Reservations: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a formal Purchase Order (PO), a signed quotation, or a transition of the required deposit.
Availability: All vehicle bookings are subject to availability at the time of confirmation. Star Bus Rental reserves the right to provide an upgraded vehicle category at no extra cost if the requested model is unavailable.

2. Payment Terms

Individual/Short-term Bookings: Full payment must be cleared at least 48 hours before the service date.
Corporate/Monthly Contracts: Payments are due within the first 5 days of each month unless a specific credit period has been pre-approved by our finance department.
Methods: We accept Bank Transfers, Cheques, and Online Credit/Debit Card payments.

3. Inclusions and Exclusions

Included: Rates typically cover the vehicle, an RTA-certified driver, fuel, and comprehensive passenger insurance.
Excluded: Unless explicitly stated, rates do not include:
- 5% UAE Value Added Tax (VAT).
- Salik (Toll) charges (charged at AED 5 per gate).
- Parking fees (Malls, Airports, Parks).
- Driver overnight stay or meals for trips outside the home Emirate.

4. Usage and Overtime

Daily Duty: A standard “Full Day” consists of 10 consecutive hours.
Overtime: Any usage exceeding the agreed hours will be billed at the hourly rate specified in your quotation.
Midnight Surcharge: Services performed between 12:00 AM and 5:00 AM may incur a “night shift” surcharge.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

48+ Hours Notice: Full refund or no cancellation fee.
24–48 Hours Notice: 50% of the total booking value will be charged.
Less than 24 Hours/No Show: 100% of the booking value will be charged.

6. Passenger Conduct and Safety

RTA Compliance: All passengers must wear seatbelts at all times as per UAE Law.
Prohibited Items: Smoking, alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are strictly forbidden on all Star Bus Rental vehicles.
Damages: The client is held financially responsible for any internal or external damage caused to the vehicle by passengers (e.g., upholstery tears, broken windows). A cleaning fee of AED 500 applies for excessive littering or spills.

7. Breakdown and Liability

Replacement Policy: In the event of a mechanical breakdown, Star Bus Rental will provide a replacement vehicle of the same or higher category as quickly as possible.
Delays: While we strive for 100% punctuality, Star Bus Rental is not liable for delays caused by force majeure, including extreme weather, sudden road closures by authorities, or major traffic accidents involving third parties.

8. Insurance

All vehicles and passengers are covered under a comprehensive commercial insurance policy in accordance with UAE federal laws. Our liability is limited to the terms provided by our insurance carrier.
