Terms and Conditions | Private Bus Rental Sharjah

By booking with Star Bus Rental, you agree to the following terms and conditions. We aim to provide a transparent and fair service for all our clients across Sharjah and the UAE.

1. Booking and Confirmation

• A booking is considered “Confirmed” only upon receipt of a formal Purchase Order (PO), a signed quotation, or a deposit as specified in your quote.

• Last-minute bookings (within 24 hours) are subject to vehicle availability and must be paid in full at the time of confirmation.

2. Payment Terms

• Individual/One-off Bookings: 100% payment is required before the start of the trip unless otherwise agreed.

• Corporate Contracts: Payment terms for monthly staff transportation are typically 7 to 15 days from the date of invoice.

• Payments can be made via Bank Transfer, Cash, or Corporate Check.

3. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

• More than 48 hours notice: Full refund (minus any administrative or banking fees).

• 24 to 48 hours notice: 50% cancellation fee applies.

• Less than 24 hours notice or No-Show: 100% cancellation fee applies; no refund will be issued.

4. Vehicle Usage and Overtime

• Daily Rental: Standard daily rental is for 10 hours (unless a “Half-Day” 5-hour rate is booked).

• Overtime: Any usage beyond the agreed hours will be charged at a rate of AED 100–150 per hour (depending on vehicle size).

• Route Changes: Significant changes to the itinerary after the bus has departed may result in additional fuel or driver charges.

5. Passenger Responsibilities and Conduct

• Cleanliness: Passengers are expected to keep the bus clean. A “Deep Cleaning Fee” of AED 300 may be charged if the bus is returned with excessive litter or stains.

• Smoking/Alcohol: Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited on all our vehicles in compliance with UAE law.

• Damages: Any damage caused to the vehicle’s interior or exterior by passengers will be billed directly to the client.

6. Tolls, Parking, and Fines

• Salik (Tolls): Salik charges are generally not included in the base quote and will be billed at AED 5 per crossing (or as per the current RTA rate).

• Parking Fees: Any parking fees at airports, malls, or private venues are the responsibility of the client.

• Traffic Fines: Fines resulting from driver error are the responsibility of Star Bus Rental. Fines resulting from passenger actions (e.g., standing while the bus is moving) are the responsibility of the client.

7. Limitation of Liability

• Star Bus Rental is not responsible for delays caused by force majeure, including but not limited to heavy traffic, road accidents, or extreme weather conditions in Sharjah.

• We are not liable for the loss of personal items left on the bus. We encourage all passengers to check their seating area before disembarking.
