Terms and Conditions for One-Day Mini Bus Rental

To ensure a smooth and professional experience for all our clients across the UAE, the following terms apply to all daily rental agreements with Star Bus Rental.

1. Booking and Confirmation

• Advance Booking: While we strive to accommodate last-minute requests, we recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance to ensure vehicle availability.

• Reservation Deposit: A booking is only considered “Confirmed” once a deposit or a formal Purchase Order (for corporate clients) has been received.

2. Standard Rental Duration

• 10-Hour Window: The standard “One Day” rental period is 10 consecutive hours.

• Overtime: Any usage exceeding 10 hours will be billed at an hourly rate (e.g., AED 100–150/hour depending on vehicle size).

• Operational Hours: Service usually starts between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM unless otherwise agreed upon during booking.

3. Pricing and Additional Charges

• Inclusions: Rates include the vehicle, professional driver, and fuel.

• Exclusions: * Salik (Tolls): Charged at AED 5 per crossing.

  • Parking Fees: Clients are responsible for any public (RTA) or private parking fees incurred during the trip.

  • VAT: A 5% Value Added Tax is applicable to the total invoice amount as per UAE Law.

4. Geographical Limits

• Our “One Day” service covers travel within and between Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, RAK, UAQ, and Fujairah.

• Travel to the Western Region (Al Ruwais) or Liwa may incur additional “Long Distance” surcharges due to fuel and driver fatigue management.

5. Passenger Safety and Conduct

• Seating Capacity: For safety and insurance reasons, the number of passengers must not exceed the legal seating capacity of the vehicle.

• Seatbelts: It is mandatory for all passengers to wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion.

• Prohibited Items: Smoking, alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside the vehicles.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled pickup are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.

• 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the trip will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

• No-Show: If the group fails to show up at the designated pickup point within 60 minutes of the scheduled time, the booking will be cancelled without a refund.

7. Vehicle Condition and Damages

• We take pride in our clean, well-maintained fleet. Any damage caused to the interior or exterior of the bus by passengers (e.g., upholstery tears, excessive littering, or broken fixtures) will be billed to the client for repairs or deep cleaning.

8. Responsibility for Valuables

• Star Bus Rental is not responsible for any lost or forgotten items inside the vehicle. However, our “Lost and Found” department will do its best to recover and return any items found by our drivers after their shift.
