Terms and Conditions: Premium Bus Rental Sharjah

By booking a service with Star Bus Rental, the client (individual or corporate entity) agrees to the following terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure safety, transparency, and a high-quality experience for all passengers.

1. Booking and Payment Policy

• Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only after the receipt of a formal purchase order (PO) or a down payment as specified in the quotation.

• Pricing: All quotes are based on the specific itinerary provided. Any additional stops, mileage, or hours outside the original agreement will be subject to extra charges.

• Payment Terms: For one-time rentals, full payment must be settled before the journey begins. For monthly corporate contracts, payments are due within the first 5 days of each month.

2. Vehicle Usage and Capacity

• Passenger Limit: For safety and legal reasons, the number of passengers must not exceed the licensed seating capacity of the vehicle (e.g., a 30-seater bus cannot carry 31 people).

• Prohibited Items: Smoking, alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on all Star Bus Rental vehicles.

• Damages: Any damage caused to the vehicle’s interior (upholstery, electronics, etc.) by the client or their guests will be charged to the client at the cost of repair or replacement.

3. Driver Duty and Working Hours

• Standard Shift: A standard daily rental is based on 10 hours of duty. Any additional hours will be billed as overtime.

• Safety Breaks: For long-distance trips (e.g., Sharjah to Liwa or Oman), the driver must be allowed mandatory rest periods as per UAE transport safety regulations.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• Standard Cancellation: Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the service date are eligible for a full refund (minus administrative fees).

• Late Cancellation: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking time will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

• No-Show: If the client does not arrive at the designated pickup point within 60 minutes of the scheduled time, the booking will be considered a “No-Show” and no refund will be issued.

5. Liabilities and Insurance

• Passenger Insurance: All vehicles in our premium fleet are fully insured, and passengers are covered under the vehicle’s comprehensive insurance policy as per UAE law.

• Personal Belongings: While we strive to ensure the safety of all items, Star Bus Rental is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings left inside the vehicle.

• Delays: Star Bus Rental is not liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, heavy traffic, or road closures by local authorities.

6. Tolls, Parking, and Fines

• Salik & Parking: Unless explicitly stated in the “All-Inclusive” package, Salik (toll) charges and public parking fees are the responsibility of the client.

• Traffic Fines: Fines resulting from driver negligence are the responsibility of Star Bus Rental. However, fines requested by the client (e.g., “Wait for me in a no-parking zone”) will be billed to the client.
