Terms and Conditions | Star Bus Rental Sharjah

To ensure a seamless experience for all our passengers, the following terms apply to all Sharjah minibus rental bookings. By confirming your booking with Star Bus Rental, you agree to these industry-standard policies.

1. Booking & Confirmation

• Deposit: A minimum deposit of 25% to 50% is required to secure a vehicle for specific dates.

• Confirmation: A booking is only considered “confirmed” once a booking voucher or digital confirmation is issued by our office.

• Lead Time: For large events or 30-seater buses, we recommend booking at least 72 hours in advance.

2. Usage & Overtime Policy

• Standard Day: A full-day rental is calculated as 10 consecutive hours (e.g., 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM).

• Overtime Charges: If the trip exceeds the agreed duration, an hourly rate of AED 100 to AED 150 (depending on vehicle size) will apply.

• Driver Rest: For safety and compliance with UAE labor laws, drivers must have adequate rest periods during long-distance or multi-day trips.

3. Additional Costs (Salik, Parking, & VAT)

• Salik (Tolls): Every crossing of a Salik gate (in Dubai or Sharjah) is charged at AED 5 per gate.

• Parking Fees: Any RTA parking fees, mall parking, or airport parking charges incurred during the trip are the responsibility of the client.

• VAT: In accordance with UAE Federal Decree-Law, a 5% Value Added Tax is applicable to all service charges.

4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that plans change. Our refund policy is as follows:

• 72 Hours Before: Full refund of the deposit (minus administrative fees).

• 24–48 Hours Before: 50% of the total booking amount is chargeable.

• Less than 24 Hours/No Show: 100% of the total booking amount is non-refundable.

5. Passenger Conduct & Safety

• Seatbelts: It is mandatory for all passengers to wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion.

• Smoking/Alcohol: Smoking and the consumption of alcohol are strictly prohibited inside all Star Bus Rental vehicles.

• Cleaning Fee: A professional cleaning fee of AED 300 may be charged if the vehicle is returned in an excessively soiled condition.

6. Luggage Policy

• Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings. While our drivers assist with loading, Star Bus Rental is not liable for any lost or damaged items left inside the vehicle.
