1. Booking and Reservation

  • Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a formal Purchase Order (PO) or a signed contract and the agreed-upon initial deposit.

  • Lead Time: While we strive to accommodate last-minute requests, Star Bus Rental recommends booking at least 14 days prior to the camp start date to ensure vehicle availability and route optimization.

  • Route Details: Complete pickup and drop-off schedules, including specific locations in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, or RAK, must be finalized at least 7 business days prior to the start of the contract.

2. Compliance and Safety

  • Regulatory Standards: All vehicles provided by Star Bus Rental are fully compliant with RTA (Dubai), SRTA (Sharjah), and DOT regulations.

  • Passenger Conduct: For the safety of all, campers must remain seated with seatbelts fastened while the vehicle is in motion. We recommend that camp organizers provide a bus supervisor/monitor for groups of children under the age of 12.

3. Rental Duration and Overtime

  • Standard Hours: Daily rates are based on a standard 10-hour window (e.g., 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

  • Overtime: Any usage exceeding the agreed-upon hours will be billed at an hourly rate of AED 70 – 100. Prior notice is required for extended evening activities or weekend excursions.

4. Fuel, Tolls, and Fines

  • Salik & Tolls: Unless “All-Inclusive” is specified, Salik (Dubai) tolls will be charged at the standard rate plus a small administrative fee.

  • Fuel Policy: For “Dry Hire” contracts, the bus must be returned with a full tank. “Wet Hire” contracts include all fuel costs.

  • Traffic Fines: Any fines incurred due to driver error are the responsibility of Star Bus Rental. Fines resulting from passenger actions or camp organizer instructions are the responsibility of the client.

5. Weather and Vehicle Maintenance

  • AC Performance: Our buses undergo rigorous AC servicing before the summer season. In the unlikely event of an AC malfunction in the UAE heat, a replacement vehicle will be dispatched immediately.

  • Breakdowns: Star Bus Rental guarantees a replacement bus within 60–90 minutes (depending on location in Sharjah, Dubai, Ajman, or RAK) to minimize disruption to the camp schedule.

6. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Cancellations: Cancellations made 7 days prior to the start date are eligible for a full refund (minus admin fees).

  • Late Cancellations: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the service start date may be subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the first week’s rental.

7. Damage to Property

  • Any intentional damage to the vehicle’s interior, upholstery, or electronic equipment caused by campers will be documented and billed to the camp organizing entity at the cost of repair.
