Terms and Conditions for Eid Holiday Bookings

By booking your transport with Star Bus Rental for the Eid-ul-Fitr or Eid-ul-Adha period, you agree to the following terms. These policies are designed to ensure fair pricing and guaranteed service for all our clients across the UAE.

1. Booking & Confirmation

• Advance Requirement: To qualify for “Advance Booking” rates, reservations must be confirmed at least 14 days prior to the expected first day of Eid.

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total booking value is required to reserve a specific vehicle from our fleet.

• Final Payment: The remaining balance must be settled at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

2. Rental Duration & Scope

• Daily Limit: A standard “Full Day” rental is calculated as 10 consecutive hours.

• Service Area: Rates are based on the pre-agreed itinerary (e.g., Dubai to Hatta or Sharjah to Ras Al Khaimah). Any significant deviations from the planned route may incur additional fuel charges.

• Driver Hours: For safety reasons, drivers cannot exceed 12 hours of duty per day. For trips requiring longer durations, a secondary driver must be requested in advance.

3. Inclusions & Exclusions

• Inclusions: Professional driver, fuel, and basic comprehensive insurance are included in the quote.

• Exclusions: Tolls (Salik), public parking fees, entry tickets to attractions (e.g., Al Ain Zoo or Jebel Jais), and driver tipping are not included unless explicitly stated in your contract.

4. Cancellation & Rescheduling

• Cancellations: If you cancel more than 7 days before the trip, the deposit may be applied to a future booking. Cancellations within 7 days of the Eid holiday are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.

• No-Show: If the group fails to appear at the designated pickup point within 60 minutes of the scheduled time without notice, the booking will be considered a “No-Show” and no refund will be issued.

5. Passenger Conduct & Safety

• Capacity: The number of passengers must not exceed the legal seating capacity of the vehicle (e.g., 15 passengers for a 15-seater van).

• Prohibitions: Smoking, the consumption of alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited on all Star Bus Rental vehicles.

• Damages: Any damage to the vehicle interior or equipment caused by passengers will be charged to the client at the cost of repair plus a service fee.

6. Traffic & Force Majeure

• While our drivers are experts in navigating Dubai, Sharjah, and the Northern Emirates, Star Bus Rental is not responsible for delays caused by extraordinary holiday traffic, road closures for Eid prayers, or weather-related events (e.g., sandstorms in Al Ain).

7. Dispute Resolution

• Any complaints regarding the service must be reported to our 24/7 customer service line within 12 hours of the trip completion to be eligible for review or compensation.
