Rental Terms & Conditions | Star Bus Rental Ajman

To ensure a smooth and professional experience for all our clients, Star Bus Rental operates under the following guidelines. By booking our Ajman Bus Rental services, clients agree to these terms:

1. Booking and Payment

• Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a formal Purchase Order (PO) or a partial advance payment.

• Payment Terms: For daily rentals, full payment is required before the start of the trip. For monthly corporate contracts, payments are due within the first 5 days of the service month.

• Accepted Methods: We accept Cash, Bank Transfers, and Credit/Debit cards.

2. Inclusions and Exclusions

• Included: Professional driver, vehicle maintenance, and comprehensive passenger insurance. Fuel is included in daily/short-term rates unless otherwise specified.

• Excluded: Toll charges (Salik), parking fees, entry tickets to attractions, and 5% VAT. These will be invoiced based on actual consumption.

3. Operational Hours and Overtime

• Standard Day: A standard rental day consists of 10 hours of service.

• Overtime: Any service exceeding the 10-hour limit will be charged at an hourly rate (ranging from AED 100 to AED 150 depending on the vehicle size).

• Driver Rest: To ensure road safety in accordance with UAE labor laws, drivers must have adequate rest periods for trips exceeding 12 hours.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

• 48-Hour Notice: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled time will receive a full refund (minus administrative fees).

• 24-Hour Notice: Cancellations made within 24–48 hours will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

• No-Show: If a booking is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice or the group does not show up, the full rental amount is non-refundable.

5. Passenger Conduct and Safety

• Seatbelts: It is mandatory for all passengers to wear seatbelts at all times during the journey as per UAE Federal Traffic Law.

• Prohibited Items: Smoking, alcohol consumption, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited inside all Star Bus Rental vehicles.

• Cleanliness: While we expect normal wear and tear, excessive mess or damage to the vehicle interior caused by passengers may result in a cleaning/repair fee.

6. Luggage and Valuables

• Star Bus Rental is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left inside the vehicle. We recommend all passengers check their seats before disembarking.

7. Traffic Fines and Tolls

• Any traffic fines incurred due to driver negligence will be covered by Star Bus Rental. However, if a fine is incurred due to a direct passenger request (e.g., stopping in a prohibited zone for boarding), the client will be held liable.
