By booking a 14 seater van with driver from Star Bus Rental, the client agrees to the following terms:

1. Booking and Payment

• Confirmation: A booking is only considered “confirmed” upon receipt of a deposit or full payment as per the agreed quotation.

• Payment Methods: We accept Cash, Bank Transfer, and Credit/Debit Cards. All payments must be cleared before or at the start of the service unless a corporate credit account is active.

• Currency: All rates are quoted in UAE Dirhams (AED).

2. Standard Inclusions and Exclusions

• Included: The rental rate includes the vehicle, professional driver, fuel, and comprehensive insurance for the vehicle and passengers.

• Excluded: Salik (toll) charges, parking fees, entry tickets to attractions, and driver tipping (discretionary) are not included unless explicitly stated in an “All-Inclusive” package.

3. Usage and Timing

• Operating Hours: For full-day bookings, the standard duration is 10 hours. For half-day bookings, it is 5 hours.

• Overtime: Any usage beyond the agreed hours will be charged at AED 80 – 100 per hour (or as per your specific rate).

• Driver Rest: For safety, drivers must have adequate rest. For multi-day trips, the driver’s working hours must comply with UAE labor and safety laws.

4. Passenger Conduct and Safety

• Seating Capacity: The maximum capacity of the van is 14 passengers. For the safety of our clients and to comply with RTA laws, we strictly forbid overloading.

• Smoking Policy: Smoking (including e-cigarettes/vaping) is strictly prohibited inside the vehicle. A cleaning fee of AED 500 will be applied for violations.

• Seatbelts: It is the passenger’s responsibility to wear seatbelts at all times while the vehicle is in motion.

5. Tolls (Salik) and Fines

• Salik: Each crossing of a Salik gate is charged at AED 5. A statement of Salik usage will be provided at the end of the trip for reimbursement.

• Client Fines: Any fines incurred due to passenger actions (e.g., throwing litter out of the window, standing up while driving) will be the responsibility of the client.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

• 48 Hours Notice: Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the service date are eligible for a full refund (minus any bank processing fees).

• 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the service date will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

• No-Show: If the client fails to show up at the designated pickup point without notice, the full booking amount is non-refundable.

7. Insurance and Liability

• Coverage: All passengers are covered under our comprehensive commercial vehicle insurance as per RTA regulations.

• Personal Belongings: Star Bus Rental is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal items left in the vehicle. Please ensure you check the van before offloading.
